Having some fun

I found the Martha Stewart circle punch on clearance at Jo Ann's the other day - so picked it up.  However, I didn't realize it required the circle edge punch starter set to work.  Scouted around and found it.  Now that the pieces are together - it is fun!

First - stamp around with the Inkadoo set - just seeing if it will do what I expect.  I put one stamp in the wrong spot, oh well - glad this is a sample - and if it looks ok - a photo or embellishment will hide this.

Part one is ready -- all stamped.
Now to punch - and viola!  It worked.  Not quite centered, but that will come with practice :)

Happy scrapping - see you over at Scraprageous Forums

A few more layouts

snapped these quick before delivering book.  Using one for a layout challenge over on Scraprageous forums.  Check out the challenges here:  http://scraprageous.freeforums.net/

On the layout above, I used four Cricut Cartridges - Oh Canada, George, 50 States and Keystone.  No cartridges on the layout below, but I found that saying and thought it was the perfect way to close out a memorial album.

Into a few drawers

upon request - yes, I do have a lot crammed into a small space, but it is my scrap area and I love it!  So, what do I use those tiny drawers for - a few samples:

Messy but mine!

In reply to a post by Unforgettable over on the forum (link: http://scraprageous.freeforums.net/) here is my scrap area.

My area has four sides.  Not the neatest or the 'prettiest', but it is my scrappy home that I love.  It is near the fireplace (about 4' away) so it is toasty and the family room is right here too - so no hiding in a dark room - I can chat or watch tv or something while scrapping.

The dresser, where the cricut sets, has four inch deep drawers.  They are perfect for storing - adhesives, punches, more punches, 1 is misc and needs to be cleaned, and ribbons.  The narrower drawers work great for 8.5x11 papers.

my dental cabinet with papers on top - love it!  those narrow drawers are prefect for many items like ink pads, buttons, ephermera and tools
my table area with shelving tends to have the right side always getting filled.  Wonder about the nerf gun?  That is for new kitten in the house - she hates the sound of the gun cocking, and hasn't learned my area is a no cats allowed zone just yet.  Her favorite past-time?  Clawing out the bottom of my trash bag - bad kitty!

Then the front - I have a laptop in the area now - next to the solid cardstock.  That shelf is accessible from two sides, it works for me.

A project in the works

Just a few shares

Cover - start with a clearance album, add some wooden pieces, crackle paint, a die cut and some crystal laquer

used my cricut for the title (Alphalicious font spread horizontally) and sizzix for the filmstrip

Storybook for the title font and little corners.  One I really like for 'love' type photos

had fun with sparkle for this one - cards from Old West Cricut cartridge (lettering too), dice from Indie Art (I think)
Used the 50 states cartridge to make this background image
